Mr. Bergeron is trained in communications, and has extensive experience of environmental issues in Québec thanks to his longstanding involvement in the field.
From 2004 to 2011, he was a research and policy advisory for the Fédération Québécoise des Municipalités, where he was responsible for coordinating environmental and sustainable development issues. From 1995 to 2011, he was also a consultant auditor for the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC), where he worked as part of a multidisciplinary team that was responsible for applying the CIAC’s Responsible Care codes of practice for its members.
Mr. Bergeron has been a member of the Bureau d’audiences publiques sur l’environnement since June, 2011.
