Judy
Gold studied anthropology at McGill University
and social work at Université de Montréal.
She has worked, for over twenty years, in the
area of human rights, notably on matters relating
to cultural diversity, social inclusion and community
development. She has extensive experience in working
with communities, administering organizations,
developing programs and collaborative initiatives
as well as analyzing government policies.
Judy Gold is currently working
as a consultant in the field of intercultural
relations and diversity management. She is also
involved, on a volunteer basis, with community
and public organizations. She is the Vice-President
of PROMIS, on the Executive Committee of Canadian
Jewish Congress, Quebec region, and on the Comité
des partenaires of the Ministère de l’Immigration
et des Communautés culturelles, Immigration-Québec
Montérégie. Judy Gold works with
both government and non-government agencies, often
in an advisory capacity, on issues relating to
immigration, integration and intercultural relations.
Judy Gold is part-time Commissioner
at the Bureau d’audiences publiques sur
l’environnement since September 2003. She
participated in the Commission Projet de prolongement
de l’axe du Vallon in Quebec City .
She is also part-time Commissioner at the Office
de consultation publique de Montréal and
recently participated in the Commission examining
A Cultural Development Policy Proposal for
Ville de Montréal. |
