Cancellation of the public session in Saint-Augustin

Québec, November 16, 2006 – Please note that the public session in Saint-Augustin appearing in the schedule pertaining to the second part of the hearing of the Bureau d’audiences publiques sur l’environnement (BAPE) dealing with the Belmont and Magpie lakes massif, Lac aux Sauterelles knolls, Guernesé lake foothills and Brador hills biodiversity reserve projects in the Lower North Shore Plateau natural province has been cancelled . Indeed, with the participation of the Mayor of Saint-Augustin, the persons interested in addressing the commission, during the second part of the public hearing, will be able to do so by telephone link on November 21st starting at 7:30 p.m. Interested persons should go to the Office of the Mayor located at the Office municipal de Saint-Augustin .

 

The BAPE commission of inquiry, chaired by Mr. Pierre Béland, will hold, beginning on November 21st of this year, the second part of the public hearing at the following locations :
